Are you able to accommodate dietary restrictions with the tasting menu?
We try to make the fewest number of changes possible when accommodating dietary restrictions within our tasting menu. We cannot make substitutions for aversions, as this will compromise the integrity of the experience.
We are able to make accommodations for certain common dietary restrictions including: ovo-lacto vegetarian (egg and dairy cannot be omitted), pescatarian, seafood allergies, mild tree nut allergies, mild gluten sensitivities, and pregnancy restrictions with at least 72 hours advance notice.Please email [email protected] with any questions.

How do you handle allergies with your a la carte menu?
We do our best to accommodate allergies but cannot guarantee a nut, dairy, gluten, or allergen-free environment.
Please note that we cannot safely accommodate guests where cross-contamination or inhalation can trigger a reaction.

Can you omit egg or dairy from your tasting menu?
No, both egg and dairy are present throughout the tasting menu.
People with egg or dairy restrictions can still dine with us by enjoying our a la carte menu. -
Do you have vegan dishes?
While we cannot accommodate a vegan diet with our tasting menu, our a la carte menu has numerous vegan options denoted with a leaf.

Do you serve halal meat?
We do our best to source halal meat, however we occasionally feature poultry or beef that is not halal.
While we do offer a vegetarian menu, if noted in advance, we are happy to provide a tasting experience free of any non-halal meats or alcohol.

Does everyone in the party have to get the same menu style?
Yes. All guests in a group must enjoy the same menu style, whether that be our 8-course tasting, a la carte, or a special offering.

Why is a 20% service charge automatically applied to my bill?
We include a 20% service charge as part of your experience. The service charge ensures that all of our employees are paid an equitable wage. Additional gratuity is at the discretion of each guest. 100% of discretionary tips are paid to non-salaried, front of house employees.

When do reservations become available?
Reservations for our 8-course tasting are released weekly on Monday mornings at 11am.
Special event reservations are released first to our mailing list before becoming publicly available.
Please reach out to us or add yourself to the waitlist if there is a specific date/time/party size that is unavailable. -
Can I book a reservation for a group of 7 or more?
Yes, if we have the availability in our 36-seat dining room.
Large parties are seated as adjacent tables along our banquette for comfort and service quality.
On weekends, large parties are limited to specific seating times.
Reservations for large groups must be made by emailing [email protected] or calling the restaurant directly. A $95 per person deposit is required. -
What is your corkage policy?
Our corkage policy is on a sliding scale with a limit of one bottle per person in the party. Corkage for the first two bottles is $35 each, the third bottle is $40, the fourth bottle is $45. For larger parties, additional corkage is $50/bottle. This wine must not be currently represented on our wine list or pairings. Are you child friendly?
While we do not have any minimum age requirements, we do not have any special accommodations for children — high chairs, booster seats, or infant changing tables.
For guests joining us for our tasting menu, we do require all guests over the age of 10 to order the full tasting. -
What happens if I am running late?
Please call 773.961.7866 if you are running late to prevent being considered a no-show.
Please note that arriving more than fifteen minutes late may result in a rushed experience. -
Do you offer valet parking?
We do not offer valet parking. Metered street parking is available on both sides of the street along Kedzie.
We are also conveniently located across the street from the Kedzie exit of the Kedzie Brown Line station. -
Do you offer takeout or delivery?
No, we do not offer takeout or delivery at this time.

Do you have a private dining room?
We do not have a private dining room, however we can offer private dining for up to 38 guests. Please call or email us for more information.
